CPO delivers a complete range of Prosthetic Services for both upper and lower limb loss (or limb absence from birth) using the most appropriate solution matched to the patient’s needs.

Our prosthetics client base, ranges from the young (pediatric) to the old and from the active and sporty to the less active. We fabricate locally and deliver with speed, quality and convenience following ISO standards – a standard specific to medical devices.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE INITIAL VISIT FROM THE PATIENT PERSPECTIVE

Our staff will discuss the following patient objectives:

  • Prosthetic Options – What type of prosthetic options are available for the patient.
  • Timeline – What can the patient expect regarding the process and when they will receive their prosthesis.
  • Patient Goals – Discuss patients motivation, expectations and goals during rehab and beyond.
  • Verify Benefits – Our staff will verify patient insurance benefits and get the paperwork process started.
  • Patient Candidacy – Is your patient a candidate for a new prosthesis or supplies.
  • Billing Opportunities – Can your facility benefit from a possible new billing instance.​
  • Timeline – What can the facility expect regarding the process and when they can add a patient to PT caseload and initiate therapy and billing.

BENEFICIARIES OF PROSTHETIC SERVICES

CPO can provide a full range of physician prescribed orthotics including both custom fabricated and custom fit devices for both upper and lower limb. The objectives of orthotic treatment include providing support and stability; preventing and/or correcting deformities; providing joint alignment; and improving function and/or gait.

The beneficiaries are all those people with physical and functional limitations resulting from illnesses and disabilities. The patients such as:-

  • Musculoskeletal Conditions – scoliosis, plantar faciitis, congenital abnormalities, arthritis, tendon rupture, cancer, fractures or other trauma.
  • Neuromuscular Conditions – stroke (CVA), multiple sclerosis (MS), diabetes, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury.
  • Post-surgical conditions – includes support or immobilization of anatomy resulting from fractures and/or tendon and ligament repair.
